More than 67 million Americans in 19 states are under blizzard warnings or winter storm warnings as Winter Storm Jonas moves toward the East Coast. Heavy snow and strong winds will bring travel to a grinding halt. Some airlines are canceling flights as of 4:00PM Friday. More than 6,000 U.S. flights including over 2,800 on Friday and nearly 3,200 on Saturday have been canceled, many of which are due to Jonas.
The Quick Solutions Team has created full contingency plans and alternative solutions in order to provide continuous service to all of our customers in preparation for Storm Jonas:
- Our team will be closely monitoring the storm and coordinating with the airlines and our ground partners to provide the best delivery options to meet your priority transportation needs
- Through our extensive network and many logistics services, we will use alternative airports not affected by the storm, as well as ground services or charter flights as needed.
- Our multiple control centers are networked and backed up, so that Customer Service Representatives will be available 24/7 to take your orders or to answer questions about your shipments. However, in the case of power or phone network outages, our online system, QuickOnline can be utilized to place orders or track shipments. Please be sure to set up a user ID and password to access this system, if you do not already have one. Go to www.quickonline.com to sign up.
